''Aetholix flavibasalis'' is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Guenée in 1854. It is found in Australia (Queensland), Thailand, western India, Sri Lanka, the Andamans and on Borneo.〔(Aetholix at funet )〕 The forewings are brown with a pale spot. There is a white band across the hindwings. Both wings have a cream and orange thorax and basal area.
